Oh and what a beautiful Christmas it was! Yes, a little different for me to be in a different country far away from Family and friends, but it was so good! To be honest, I didn't know exactly how it would go, but any expectations I had where met and then some! I was able to have to girls stay over at my house, and so we had the full Christmas experience together! it was 5 in the morning when I woke up to the sounds of gifts being opened!! :) We then enjoyed the morning with pancakes and exploring the rest of their gifts!! Such a beautiful time! The rest of the day was spent getting ready for the meal at 3! There were 6 of us all together, and we enjoyed a beautiful meal! We had even made some Christmas cookies the day before! After our meal we sat down to a few games of UNO!! If you have never tried the 'new' game of UNO you need to! (Whenever you lay down a 7 you must switch your cards with one other person of your choice, and whenever you lay down a 0, everyone rotates their cards to the next person in the direction you were already going). Either way we really enjoyed it! Our evening was spent with a stroll downtown, watching people ice skate! A perfect Christmas!! God is so good!
The Lord showed me this Christmas that the gift of Love is what He has called us to give!! He did that with His son, in such a mighty way! My prayer is that through this Love that i receive only from our Mighty Father in Heaven that His children will come to know what it means to truly be a Child of God!
